Our King and Queen beds are so comfy and inviting with handmade quilts to keep you warm and a wood burning stove to make sure you are cozy on those cool mountain nights. The lower five cabins were built in the late 1920's and the upper four were built in the early 1950's. When we carefully restored them we kept everything original and intact that we could. Our visitors have a graceful blend of rustic and plush with full private bathrooms. The view from the porch of any of our nine secluded cabins is serene, beautiful and full of horses. The mountain in summer has as many moods as there are days and weather. A favorite pastime of many guests is to just relax and watch the scenery of the valley as it changes from morning mists to heated lazy afternoons that drift magically into dusky evenings. No phones or TV will disturb your peace, keeping the world comfortably at bay.

The kitchen is always the unofficial gathering place on the ranch, from early morning coffee and making plans for the day, to a nightcap before turning in and sharing the days events and camaraderie. With early morning comes the aroma of baked bread and goodies drifting daily down the valley and inviting guests to come sample fresh treats. Caren oversees a great culinary crew that makes scrumptious and healthy home cooked all-you- can-eat meals, served family style in our spacious and comfortable lodge. Our beef is home grown and makes the best BBQ in the southwest.  Fresh fruits and vegetables are always abundant on our menu. We are lucky to have a lot of local farmers, many organic, to supply our fresh ingredients. We can usually accommodate special dietary needs, with notice.
